Single Review: " Mary " Release date 20.05.02

Emotions will ascend on the intro of this fresh new single by introspective artist Dale Olivier. An impassioned and distinctive violin solo sucks us in to what is an almost paradoxical melody evoking sadness yet with a sense of mature and uplifting confidence from Olivier's vocal (redolent of early Michael Stipes).

Though this powerful song addresses serious issues extremely close to Dale's heart, the memorable and comforting tunefulness means that his strong message is just subtle enough in impact to provoke thought whilst challenging 'the norm' of todays bass guitar and drum dominated Indie music scene. As well as the intrigue aroused by a man who could possibly be in touch with his feelings, this unique and well produced single can not fail to induce interest in the forthcoming album "Fountainhead" - release date July 2002.
